The Volare, Ascend Hotel Collection San Clemente, San Clemente

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were set up really well for a group of females getting ready, but unfortunately, they faced the freeway and freeway entrance, causing excessive noise and exhaust fumes. Although the rooms were a little dated and not so fresh, they were in great condition overall.

The hotel had its ups and downs. While the rooms weren't the most desirable, being at the furthest back with only a window that didn't open and the freeway close by, the staff were super friendly and accommodating. The location was convenient, easy to access various places, and centrally located for restaurants. The dining experience left something to be desired with long waits for certain items, but the facilities were well-organized and clean.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were recently renewed, very comfortable, and clean, and I enjoyed the balcony with a pleasant sea view. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly, always willing to assist. The location was optimal for exploring the town center and restaurants nearby, but there were a few unexpected issues during my stay. The dining experience had limited options, but overall, it was a great value for money.
